Fondasi Ilahi untuk Keluarga Kontemporer: Hermeneutika Mazmur 127 dalam Dialog dengan Tantangan Modernitas

Contemporary families face multidimensional crises due to modernity's pressures such as individualism, materialism, and relational disintegration that threaten Christian family foundations. This research aims to explore the relevance of Psalm 127 as a theological foundation for family formation capable of responding to modern challenges. Contextual hermeneutical method is employed to analyze Psalm 127 and dialogue it with contemporary family realities through historical-critical exegesis and theological-practical interpretation. The findings reveal that Psalm 127 offers three fundamental principles: (1) acknowledgment of God's sovereignty as a foundation that liberates from existential anxiety; (2) balance between human effort and divine grace; (3) value reorientation from productivity toward holistic shalom. In conclusion, Psalm 127 provides counter-cultural wisdom relevant for building Christian family resilience, offering alternatives to modern secular values through spirituality that integrates faith and daily life.
Abstrak
Keluarga kontemporer menghadapi krisis multidimensional akibat tekanan modernitas seperti individualisme, materialisme, dan disintegrasi relasional yang mengancam fondasi keluarga Kristen. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi relevansi Mazmur 127 sebagai dasar teologis pembentukan keluarga yang mampu merespons tantangan modern. Metode hermeneutika kontekstual digunakan untuk menganalisis teks Mazmur 127 dan mendialogkannya dengan realitas keluarga kontemporer melalui pendekatan eksegesis historis-kritis dan interpretasi teologis-praktis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Mazmur 127 menawarkan tiga prinsip fundamental: (1) pengakuan kedaulatan Allah sebagai fondasi yang membebaskan dari kecemasan eksistensial; (2) keseimbangan antara usaha manusia dan anugerah ilahi; (3) reorientasi nilai dari produktivitas menuju shalom holistik. Simpulannya, Mazmur 127 menyediakan hikmat counter-cultural yang relevan untuk membangun resiliensi keluarga Kristen, menawarkan alternatif terhadap nilai-nilai sekuler modern melalui spiritualitas yang mengintegrasikan iman dan kehidupan sehari-hari.
